The most common mistake is a rug that is too small. Choose by your furniture, not by the room. Every drawing is to scale.

Our rugs carry the patterns of classic Persian rugs: medallions, flowers, tiles and borders. They are machine-woven, very dense, with a short, soft pile.
They are not hand-knotted and not wool. We would rather say that straight away. What it does mean: a price that fits a normal home, and a rug that can handle chairs, children and coffee.
A large rug stays for years. That is why it is densely woven, so the pattern stays sharp after many feet and chair legs.

A regular rug
Often plain or a simple print. Thin and light. It fills the floor, but gives the room little character.
A hand-knotted Persian rug
Knotted by hand, usually in wool. Beautiful, but often thousands of euros and delicate in a busy home.

Which size do I need?
Measure your seating area, not the whole room. At least the front legs of the sofa belong on the rug. For a three-seater, 300 × 200 cm is a good start. Torn between two sizes? Choose the larger one.
Can it go on underfloor heating?
Usually yes: a thin, dense rug holds back very little heat. Check the advice of your floor supplier and use an underlay suitable for underfloor heating.
How does such a large rug get to me?
Rolled up and packed, delivered to your door by courier. Unroll it; after a few days it lies flat.
Is the rug hand-made?
No. Our rugs are machine-woven on modern looms, with classic Persian patterns. We say so on every product page.
What is it made of?
The pile is heat-set acrylic, about 7 mm high. The backing is woven from polyester and cotton. It is not wool.
When will my rug arrive?
Order on a working day before 3 pm and we ship it the same day. In the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg it reaches you within 3 working days, free of charge.
Can I send it back?
Yes. You have 14 days after delivery to change your mind. The rug must be unused. You pay for the return shipping; please send it with tracking. We refund you within 7 days of receiving and checking it.
Are the colours in the photos accurate?
We photograph every rug as true to colour as we can, but screens and daylight differ. In your own room a colour can look slightly different.
How do I care for it?
Vacuum regularly, ideally without a rotating brush. Blot a spill straight away with a cloth, lukewarm water and mild soap; do not rub. A new rug can shed a few loose fibres in the first weeks; that stops by itself.
